Camp Ta-kum-ta Yearbook

Adapting to the global pandemic, Camp Ta-Kum-Ta, a Vermont-based Cancer Camp for Kids & Families was revisiting their annual yearbook design and distribution plan. Their long-time volunteer designer was no longer able to produce the annual publication – so I was approached to volunteer my time.

The theme of the year was “Chapter 35” – celebrating 35 years of operation. Events were all representative of books and/or stories. My goal was to switch from my typical clean / college aesthetic to a publication decidedly more playful and childish. I had to work with the TKT team to organize and label photos so they were accurately represented in the final products with their associated events and names. Simple original backgrounds were made in Procreate; while the publication itself was produced in InDesign.

Because of the use of camper photos – I am unable to display the finalized spreads; but have included page backgrounds as examples of work.
